How do I use the stopwatch on the Vertex?

The pusher above the crown starts and stops the timing, the one below resets it. The main hands on the Vertex keep showing the time throughout.

Do I have to wind the Vertex?

It runs on a Miyota JP25 quartz chronograph. Battery powered, accurate to the second, no winding needed for the black chronograph dial in a steel case.

What size is the Vertex?

The Vertex is 43mm across and 10.9mm thick, on a silicon and steel band with a 260mm total length. That covers most wrists from 6.5 to 8 inches.

Is the Vertex water resistant?

10ATM, or 100 metres on the Vertex. That is enough for swimming and snorkelling. Avoid scuba diving and hot showers, since heat is harder on seals than depth. The silicon strap handles damp fine either way.

Should I choose the Vertex or one of the alternatives?

Only the appearance differs. The Vertex gives you black chronograph dial in a steel case on a black silicon strap, while Vector and Vantage cover the other finishes.

Does the Vertex work with formal wear?

Weekend first. Swap the silicon strap for leather and the Vertex dresses up without much trouble.
