Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 14 reviews.
Imperial Ivory is such an appropriate name for this watch. The colour is elegant and understated, and it looks fantastic on the wrist.
I wanted a formal automatic watch that I could wear with suits and this has been a great choice. The ivory dial gives it something different from the usual white watches.
The ivory colour makes this stand apart from the standard white-dial watches. Very classy on the wrist and particularly good with a formal shirt or suit.
The Imperial Ivory is a self winding automatic. A Seiko NH35 automatic with 24 jewels, up to 48 hours of reserve, nothing to replace.
Will the Imperial Ivory fit a smaller wrist?
The Imperial Ivory is 42mm across and 13mm thick, on a 22mm stainless steel band with a 225mm total length. That covers most wrists from 6.5 to 8 inches. Links come out at any watch counter for a closer fit.
Does the date change without moving the hands?
Pull the crown to its first position and turn it. The date on the Imperial Ivory advances directly, without running the hands twice around the dial.
Can I wear the Imperial Ivory in water?
Rated 3ATM, or 30 metres on the Imperial Ivory. That covers rain, splashes and handwashing. Do not swim, shower or dive in it.
How is the Imperial Ivory different from the others in the range?
The case and movement are shared. What changes is the finish, and the Imperial Ivory is ivory white dial with a date window on a two tone gold plated steel bracelet. Your alternatives are Arctic Glacier, Midnight Sapphire and Royal Obsidian, so choose on colour rather than specification.
How do I restart the Imperial Ivory after leaving it off?
That is normal for a mechanical watch. Shake the Imperial Ivory gently for a few seconds or turn the crown around twenty times, then set the time.
